Intermediate Technology Development Group

Small scale efforts can have major impacts, especially when the ITDG is involved. The organization was founded four decades ago by economist E.F. Schumacher as a testament to his economic philosophy. The ITDG helps impoverished communities develop effective and sustainable technologies for production of food, shelter, energy and transportation.
