LowCal = Heart Healthy

Following a balanced, low-calorie diet (1,400-2,000 calories per day) prevents primary aging of the heart according to a recent study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

This is the first human study of its kind, though there is quite a bit of animal research proving the benefits of caloric restriction. Apparently it's a bit harder to get the human subjects to comply.
