More Science of Yoga

Scientists recently found yoga to be effective in combating lower back pain. Now we're going to see if yoga really can reduce stress.
"...Ohio State University medical researchers are the first to put science behind the popular belief in those benefits by conducting a study to test yoga's effect on stress in women.

...The recently launched study is the latest by scientists in Ohio State's Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research, whose body of work has provided compelling examples of the mind-body connection, most notably how stress can slow wound healing."
