Yoga: the Gateway Wellness Fix?

Proponents of Ayurveda are looking to take advantage of yoga's popularity:

The Indian government has reportedly expressed a readiness and a keen desire to promote and teach Ayurveda to interested academics in the US."

But only if it's Ayurveda-lite:
