Reason: Rethinking the Social Responsibility of Business

An *awesome* 2005 discussion between economist (and Nobel Prize winner) Milton Friedman and Whole Foods founder John Mackey.

Good Lord, is Friedman still laying down the law at 95 years of age??

My take, altruism is very rare in the business world - so thank God that companies *do* have economic incentives to do good under our tax laws.

Reason: Rethinking the Social Responsibility of Business: A Reason debate featuring Milton Friedman, Whole Foods’ John Mackey, and Cypress Semiconductor’s T.J. Rodgers
