And it makes a great coffee table book

I got this message today and thought I would pass it on for all you coffee lovers. For those of you in the SF area, there is a book-signing event tonight, details below.
-------------------------
Greetings!
We are really pleased to announce the publication of "The Coffee Book: Anatomy of an Industry from Crop to the Last Drop." The book covers all aspects of the fascinating world of coffee—including its origins in the highlands of Ethiopia, ancient coffeehouse history, international trade, production, the specialty coffee explosion, and the growth of sustainable coffees. It was first published in 1999, and it was continuing to do well, but was beginning to be a bit out of date -- a lot has changed in the world of coffee since then.
So we completely revised it and brought it up to the moment--we're really happy with how it turned out!
Please join us for our launch event:
Thursday June 1, 8 to 10pm at
Ritual Coffee Roasters
1026 Valencia Street (Near 21st, in the Mission)
San Francisco
Meet the authors, check out the book, and socialize!
Feel free to bring any friends!
Hope to see you there!
