A fond farewell to Vegan Lunchbox
If you haven't happened across this great site, Vegan Lunchbox showcases one mom's culinary creativity as she prepares nourishing, animal-free lunches for her favorite kindergartener. Though the lunch box blogging is essentially over, the site is a great resource with photos, recipes, and info on an upcoming cookbook by the author. Thanks for the inspiration, Mama Schmoo!

I'm so sorry to see that she won't be blogging about lunches anymore. I looked forward every day to seeing what she had made for the shmoo. Wonder if she would adopt me and send me lunch?
Well, Mrs. Schmoo promises to keep her fans updated on her family picnic fare over the summer...and by fall hopefully her cookbook will be out and inspiring more great lunchboxes. =)
I loved Vegan Lunchbox. It was one of the first vegan sites that I came across, and I read it Mon-Fri to see what she was feeding little shmoo. I got some of the greatest ideas for my son.
much more appetizing than the traditional american bologna (or is it baloney?) & pasteurized cheese food on wonderbread!
